One perfect Evening

Just had to share this:
It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection. So now I have started living my own life. Imperfect and clumsy as it may look, it is resembling me now, thoroughly - Elizabeth Gilbert.

Yesterday, Lulu turned 6th months. Today we went out to celebrate (NOT). It was one lazy Sunday with no activities. A lot more of lying around, reading book and surfing the net. Someone gets bored and wanted an evening walk, so I put on my abaya (at times when I simply got nothing to wear and need to get ready like fast and furious!) and headed to The Souq at Putrajaya Mosque. We planned to eat Nando's while enjoying the scenery at the tasik. But, no. It didn't work out that way. I brought RM50 only and thought to withdraw some cash from the ATM only to find out that they have remove the machine to Alamanda! God, I love Putrajaya :O

Gotta bring something to attract Little Lulu while we filling up our growling stomachs. Thank you to her now becoming new best-friend, meet Moo Moo!!

So we ordered Nasi Lemak (again we've ate that yesterday, only this time with rendang ayam ) for both of us at a Malay Cuisines Restaurant with "Teh Tarik" and Iced Peach Tea.

Guess how much we've been knocked-out? A freaking RM36.40!! Like hell, I should have eaten at Nando's and ordered a meal for two and share! Deep in my heart, I thought they really really do overpriced the price!! The Nasi Lemak to us is more like Nasi Ayam!! Like freaking totally nasi ayam minus the "sambal", egg and cucumber and that cost us RM12.90 each. Ok so the RM7.50 Iced Peach Tea was in a big shot glass, but still we can get bottomless Iced Lemon Tea at Nando's for only RM5.50. I don't want to sound cheapskate here, but compared to a "Nasi Lemak Bungkus Daun Pisang Harga Satu Hengget", yours are way behind, not even the authenticated  taste of a Malay cuisine supposed to be.

After the Hi-Tea cum dinner, we had our evening walk near the tasik. The place was compact with families bringing their children, nevertheless the breezy and cool weather enchantingly turned into a short beautiful escape. I actually love these three candid shots of me, making me feel like a lost runaway model in the crowd man-made cruel city. The flow-y Classic Black Abaya makes it stands out from the rest although the main focus were actually on the tree?! Owh me feel so flawless :D

If you think just enjoying the view is not enough, then go hire these i-don't-know-what's-the-name bicycles. It's one of the way for you to spend your quality times with your family/kids. Only that I think it is not suitable for some kids that do not know how to handle/turn it. Because this kid in the picture about to run into another kid who's mother, by the way thanked God was completely aware of the danger sooner.
Maybe when Lulu gets older, I'll come back again and try out this fabulous vehicles.
One thing I 'love' about Putrajaya, maybe they should really develop/consider designing for the disables or strollers.

Somehow I think this look sexy and booty-licious :p
Being a young Mummy at the age of 24 really creates you to a different person you are, either the way you think or the way you see things in a whole new perspective.  As for me, everyday is a new experience that I must cherish, it's the wonderful mummy-daughter's bonding that I start to learn and love. My daughter grows up so fast that now she's learning how to crawl, will do a post on that later. And the reason why this blog is being updated because I don't want to miss anything about her, keep on writing beautiful memories with her as if tomorrow never ends.
I hope I don't look too pale here! Off make-ups close up!

Tried to make her look at the camera, but failed magnificently!

Off-topic
p/s : I've received visitors who searched for masak lemak cili api paku pakis and shurah's products. I wonder if any of you tried the recipe because someone did search like four times on the same topic. Haha why not just jot it down in your recipe's book or simply print it out. It's worth keeping!

Sunny Black-and-White

It's a lovely day for picnic, no?

Although yes, it was a bit moody with little sunshine, still we went out for short picnic trip to Hutan Lipur Sg Tua, Ulu Yam. Definitely a nice place to relaxing your bloody mind after the one week full-of-stress working days. Anyways, two reasons that set us with high gear :

1. We canceled our Fraser's Hill holiday due to some problems
2. Of course, I want to try my new "lens" bahhhh - found my missing old compact digital camera. These whole while we didn't take pictures, because my sis borrowed my Nikon D40x to travel across the universe ie. United States of America (read: the way Nana's do)

I was supposed to prepare some heavy lunch with desserts I bet you, but we ended up with tuna sandwiches and hard boiled eggs. Yeah, you've got us right, we woke up around 11am since it was a tiring night for both of us, hence we overslept! So, out we hit the highway at noon, and along the way we stopped at  a couple of kiosks to buy white bread and nasi lemak

Yeayyy, I'm in my car-seat and I'm Mummy's good girl.
It's a little bit jam, so as usual! Ignore the serious driver behind me...hahah

"Ayah, I wanna drive too!!"

Strolling around
Picking out a spot. A pavilion that overlooks the beautiful waterfall.

Ain't that beautiful? Yeahh except for the low quality picture!

The food especially the BIKA (my used to be favorite snack during primary school back then)

Here's the black-and-white version! LOL

We got lucky that someone left their mat, so we used it. Thanks buddy if you ever happen to read this blog. Who knows, kudos?
"I want to re-fill up too"
Now she likes to play during breastfeeding. Sometimes, it makes me hard to focus myself!
Ended up, I suck my feet instead!
Thanks Akak, although you were not around, your ASDA bag did follow us! - Love your environment and GO GREEN!

"Knee-length bath, ayah!"

.
Safely reached home at 5-ish something like that, and totally exhausted. Let's see, what's for dinner tonight? hmmmmm

Part I - Giving Birth

As promised, thought of sharing away my giving-birth experience.

As scheduled, the EDD was supposed to be on the 16th of June. Previously, my last scan estimated the weight of the baby was 3.8kg, which the doctor considered it quite huge for a first baby. And yes, definitely she was worried. She checked whether I am dilated or not on the 38th week, and so on. The result was nada. She told me, if by 16th I didn't feel any contraction, then I have to admit to hospital, because if the baby is left overdue, she might gained weight some more.

And so it happen that I didn't feel any contraction at all. So the day came by, I've been admitted and stayed at the normal ward. I was given tablets in the morning - to increased *i-don't-recall-the-hormones' name* in my body to encourage the contraction of the baby. Late evening, the doctor came to check again whether I'm dilated or not. It hurts. Painful. I cried. Scared. All the feelings were there, I can't describe how I felt at that time.

Two days yet no signs of opening yet. Shockingly, the level of contraction checked through the CTG test(is this right?at least I think I heard it right :p) showed the other way round, it's happening frequently and very high. Somehow they were surprised that I didn't feel any pain at all. There was pain, but I can still handle it by reading du'a.

The tablets can only reach a maximum of three, so when they were about to give the last dose, the doctor left me with decisions to make, either I'll continue with taking the tablet, or proceed with c-sec the next day. I'm hopeless and miserable like a child with no guidance to seek, hoping that there's a ray of light that leads the correct path. Apart of me wanted the delivery to be normal, just like other proud mums, but then seeing the trouble I'm facing at that time, I don't want to opt for risks.

I WAS HEAVY-LY PREGNANT BACKED THEN.........

At Perhentian Island, was pregnant for 6 months
All ready for snorkeling, believe me I borrowed my hubby's trousers...It was an unplanned activity that never crossed my mind to be swimming in the middle of the sea carrying my precious one! Definitely not a memory to be forgotten!

Doing hijab business at 8-9 months, clearly you can see my sembab-ness face!

TO THIS BEAUTIFUL,GORGEOUS, AND PRECIOUS BABY

SEEING HER, ALL THE PAIN IN THE WORLD DID JUST VANISHED - just in the nick of time!

Eat. Pray. Love

Eat.

Pray.

Love.

Yes, that's what I am these past few months! I purely don't want to touch on how I sucks on regularly updating my boring blog! Damn, every time I logged in, I logged out again. Even my dearly sister mentioned about it in her so-up-to-date blog duhhh!!

http://www.elizabethgilbert.com/eatpraylove.htm
Actually I was about to tell you the most anticipating motion movie that I didn't manage to watch - due to yeah you know me - Imma mummy y'all! Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Lately, we're not in the mood, something happened, and I'm all sad just to think of it, feel like puking if that could make any better, but in the end, we just need to redha on soothing the bloody-hurt-heart! Solutions, went to a bookstore, read the synopsis and bought the book without turning back!

Gosh, usually I spend like two days a maximum to finish one whole novel, but these days, gotta forgive myself for not doing it so. I've got like 10 new books that I've bought and all are in the box (well I thought it make it easier for us just to move out any time soon!) waiting to be read. I'm still on Chapter 2! I think the title suits what I am today, except for if you heard my different side of stories. I do eat a lot/cook a lot, yeah do my usual 5-times daily prayers, and be loved by my family (husband most of the time)

However temptations to buy books always on the high momentum,  don't know how on earth I've got to slow it down.

On a side note, I need something refreshing and rejuvenating! Maybe a holiday will do. Need to have back my smiley ever face, and most important, looking healthy and sizzling! Blerghhh, ok I know I am not - but what the heck, y'all. Gotta love myself more :D

 Hate me or love me!
 Chio everyone!

Important Wishing Lists

So I've put Lulu to sleep, hubby's off to wedding with a bunch of friends, now I'm left at home, because he didn't invite me. Well, he did invite, but I don't like rushing myself to get ready for a last minute invitation, do you? After all, I think I should let him spend his quality times with friends, if you ever call that quality?hahaha

And again, let's list down what I want to do for the next few months ahead:

1) Definitely, I wanna start buying myself new cloths for new wardrobe. Oh come on! I need to pamper myself as well. Been buying stuffs for Lulu 'Aayesha only. Mummy's gotta enjoy too!

2) High heels and wedges!!God, how I miss wearing one. And did I tell you that my one and only favorite wedges got damaged by my sister? She borrowed it and ran it through water, hell, all the skin started to peel off!!pfft

3) Go for a holiday, just the 3 of us. And this is a must! Because he promised me so when I was pregnant with Lulu, that after I gave birth, he's gonna bring me somewhere. Ok, I'm waiting.

4) Design and decorate our new home. I don't know when we're going to move in, but I know I want it to be as soon as possible. Because I think it's about enough we live at our parents'. I need my privacy, yet now, we have our own family to deal with.

5) ...................

I don't know. For the time being, let's save these for me to catch up with. I hope I won't break my wishes! If I got anything else in my mind, I'll keep it update later.

p/s: Anyone wants to sell their second hand baby-stuffs like baby bouncer, Quinny Zapp and etc? Must be in good condition, because we are vain that way :p

Too many to tell

The weather's quite fine today, so I thought of giving this blog a little bit updates. I had my laundry on the run just now, since hubby and Lulu are having their morning sleep together. Mind you, that little Lulu gets mad when someone tease her to wake up. Ok yes, just like me, I know! :D Nevertheless, they both looked cute sleeping next to each other. Now that he got his new 'bantal peluk', I've got more my 'me time' to take care of.
So yesterday we went to IKEA just to give the sales a look. Well, as usual, things on sales are not the things that I really wanted, but still we ended up buying some stuffs for the new home. We bought two floor up-lighters at RM45 each, which I considered it as cheap enough and some other small accessories. That only, still caused us trouble. However, we managed to keep calm. Hehe, well at least my husband did. You know, it was our second time going out shopping with Lulu. At times when she woke up from her sleep and need to be held all the way, that's when we really loosing our mind. Like how the hell am I going to push the trolley, and who's gonna push the stroller because we know that someone has to hold her just fine. haha.

Today we're having our family gathering at Maklong's, that also marks my 44th day of confinement, such a way to celebrate it with big 'makan-makan'. Some cannot attend for some good reason. Sarah and Syarif are going off for their second honeymoon, Rumaisa's having her good time with friends at Singapore and poor little 'Aatikah and the family are at the hospital because she underwent a surgery. Apparently one of her lungs are not functioning, so the doctor had no choice but to drain out the liquid. Now she's not breathing well and keep on saying 'sakit sakit' :'(. Me, on the other hand can't visit her with Lulu to handle, and Lulu also has flu, so we need to take extra precautions on that. I so miss my little niece :'(. I know how it feels to look at your sick children, and you are helpless to do anything except for making du'a. That's what I did, when Lulu was admitted to hospital because of jaundice. She had to finish her antibiotic course for 5days, and they jabbed her everywhere. She cried, I cried and we all cried. But that's for her own good too, we have to redha.
please, please, please make du'a for us :)

It all begins here

I love reading blogs, simply because I've got nothing else better to do. No, don't get me wrong. I still work to earn for my simple living. But during my leisure time,  I spend almost 50% of my daily life in front of the computer. I don't know whether is it bad or not, but I do know it makes me happy by doing just that. What about blogging? I blogged sometimes, well mostly on my favorites, daily life with no itsy-bitsy details. Ever since I started blogging, I didn't quite update my blog, but the updates are still there. And then I got pregnant, started working, hence the blog got dumped. Pity, I know, right? Now that I'm a mummy with a one-month baby girl, Lulu 'Aayesha, what makes me think that I can keep it up-to-date? Still, I think I need to, because that's the purpose why I started blogging anyway. For fun, for pleasure and of course, to keep my mind working. If at school we write essays and what-not, now that we're leaving our school's life, our mind starts to not functioning well, at least I know mine is not.

If you notice, I'm giving my blog a new name, for a new re-making of the blog. The precious Lulu, obviously people will say, oh that's her baby girl's name. And obviously my answer will be, look who's her mummy lah. Lulu means pearl, and that's exactly how I feel about this blog. After all, my business partner and I decided to make Anarauda a brand. If you still don't know what Anarauda is, do check out our shopping blog here. We sell trendy, funky and latest hijabs at a reasonable price for gorgeous ladies out there.

So readers, welcome to my not-so-new blog and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy updating it, inshaallah :) Thanks for your precious time to drop by here. As for the new readers, don't get bored. Silent readers, I hope we meet up soon! One day, I know we will. You know who you are, xoxo!

p/s: Next up, I'll post about my giving birth experience. I guess every mum has one, so do I.
